The epidemic of obesity and chronic non-communicable diseases is in part attributed to food environments, which contribute to poor habits and individual factors such as knowledge, skills and motivation. The literature suggests that university students are especially susceptible to these risk factors, due to inadequate eating habits, stress and sedentary lifestyle, associated with biological and social changes typical of the transition to adulthood. The objective of this study was to identify, through a systematic review, evidence on the impact of interventions based on choice architecture (nudge) on the dietary intake of university students. To this end, research was carried out in several literary bases that deal with the topic of nudge. The results indicate that interventions based on this method are effective in promoting healthier food choices among university students, as they are more efficient, as they involve the signage and arrangement of food in the university environment. The objective of the research aims to highlight the importance of choice architecture strategies as an effective tool to promote healthy eating choices among university students, contributing to the prevention of obesity and diet-related diseases.
